Responsibilities
- Develop key product features for Linea Platform to meet a diverse set of data engineering requirements.
- Understand data engineering requirements to design and iterate on the APIs and UIs.
- Implement a scalable system to support the platform features.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 8+ years of experience with building complex distributed applications
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, terraform)
- Strong experience with micro service architecture, messaging systems (SQS, Kafka, etc.), API design
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Great communicator; good listener / curious / adaptable / collaborative
- Familiarity with and/or interest in data science
Nice to haves
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Experience developing ML/Data infra tools
- Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Prefect, Oozie, etc.
- Practical understanding of modern data science and its components
- Thrive on taking ownership of projects, driving them forward to completion
- Great communicator; good listener / curious / adaptable / collaborative
