We are seeking an experienced Director of Manufacturing to join our team.  This position will be based in our Fort Worth, Texas facility. The primary responsibility will be leading the development and implementation of activities in operations/manufacturing to meet company goals related to efficient production control, product engineering, materials and quality.

This is a hands-on position!

Here's a glimpse of what you'll do

    • Lead the charge for a start-up organization in a dynamic environment
    • Scale the entire department, team, and production line from zero / the ground up
    • Identify and onboard Tier 1 manufacturers suppliers/vendors
    • Create and implement large scale manufacturing processes and procedures 
    • Instill quality controls within the plant/facility 
    • Identify, assess, and solve for internal and external commercial and production issues that affect the organization and optimization

The successful candidates will have

    • Ability to effectively lead within all areas and coach team beyond current potential
    • Experience of operating in a rapid and process-driven environment, including facing operational peaks and strong growth
    • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and other highly automated equipment


    • Oversee the efficient and effective operation of manufacturing
    • Ensure Sales, Manufacturing, and all other constituents are working together to deliver against expectations
    • Monitors spend, inventory, planning, delivery, quality, and other key measures
    • Provide and review comprehensive, regular reports 
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
    • Other responsibilities as assigned 

Education & Experience

    • Advanced degree, in Business, Engineering or related discipline
    • 10+ years management/leadership experience in a high volume production environment
    • Experience within one of the following industries: electric motors, robotics, drones, IoT, automation, or conveyor systems 
    • Experience vetting and managing Tier 1 manufactures
    • Legally eligible to work in the US
