We are currently looking for a Head of Product B2C (all genders) based in Berlin (preferred), or located within in the EU with regular travel to Berlin.
Your mission with us:
Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will support Lingoda’s B2C growth and deliver on our product vision and strategy, offering a unique and seamless in- and out-of-classroom learning experience, centred around human-first teaching and connected by technology to enable meaningful progress.
As a Head of Product, you will lead a team of passionate Product Managers and partner deeply with your peers in Engineering and Design to execute the Lingoda mission.
Your tasks:
- Lead and Mentor Product Managers: Guide a seasoned team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and execution. Promote autonomy within the team, enabling PMs to actively contribute to and shape product strategy
- Coordinate Strategic Planning: Manage the quarterly planning process (OKRs) to align with company objectives and team dependencies, while defining clear, quantifiable metrics to track product outcomes and progress
- Establish and Uphold Best Practices: Champion product excellence by implementing industry-leading product development and management practices, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on efficiency and quality outcomes
- Foster Collaboration: Streamline communication across teams and stakeholders to build strong cross-functional relationships, enhancing teamwork and cooperative efforts across the organization
- Champion Strategic Evangelization: Inspire and engage all relevant parties by effectively communicating strategic goals, progress, and insights, ensuring alignment and enthusiasm throughout the organisation
You bring to Lingoda:
- Over 8 years of experience in product management in dynamic, high-growth tech environments, with at 4 years of managing and mentoring product managers
- Demonstrated ability to guide teams to achieve significant milestones and foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture
- Strong analytical mindset proficient in both qualitative and quantitative analysis, using data to break down complex problems into actionable steps and define strategic goals
- Consistently utilize insights to inform strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and drive product performance improvements
- Demonstrated ability to inspire teams and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear and motivational communication of vision and strategy
- Skilled in communicating concisely and strategically to C-level executives, ensuring clarity and alignment on vision and strategic priorities
- Strong passion for creating user-focused products, balancing data-driven decisions with a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points
- Proven success in delivering exceptional user experiences and product growth
- Exhibits macro-to-micro versatility, seamlessly switching between strategic planning and meticulous attention to detail
