Role Overview
As the Senior Product Designer at Yeti Confetti Kids, you will own the end-to-end design process, defining and elevating our product experience. This is a product-focused role with opportunities to contribute to art direction. You will collaborate closely with founders, engineers, and product managers to design delightful experiences that engage both children and parents while contributing to the scalability of the product.

Product Design

    • Lead the end-to-end design process, ensuring intuitive and engaging user experiences for children aged 3–9 and their parents.
    • Develop and maintain a scalable design system, including UI components, templates, and style guides.
    • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to align workflows and ensure seamless integration of designs into the development pipeline (e.g., Flutter and Rive).
    • Conduct user testing and incorporate feedback to optimize usability and engagement.
    • Create flowcharts, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate and validate design ideas effectively.

Art Direction (Supportive Role)

    • Collaborate on refining the app’s art style, ensuring it resonates with the target audience.
    • Assist in developing animation guides and maintaining consistency in visual elements where needed.
    • Partner with illustrators and animators to support art asset delivery aligned with product needs.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Rive.
- Proven experience in setting up and maintaining design systems and scalable workflows.
- A strong understanding of animation principles and the ability to collaborate on animations.
- Familiarity with Flutter and integrating designs into engineering workflows.
- Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to work across product, design, and engineering teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in children’s educational products or ed-tech design.
- Strong documentation skills to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Familiarity with usability testing and gathering actionable insights.
