Spending a summer as a second year law student working at Litco Law is both a dynamic and exciting way for you to launch your career. At Litco Law, we are obsessed with providing outstanding client service. Our clients are our number one priority, and we are always striving to find new ways to support them throughout their injury claims.
By working as a Summer Law Student (2L), you will gain a well-rounded and valuable experience by working alongside our team of lawyers and articling students to gain exposure in each of our practice areas. Our program introduces students to many aspects of the practice of law including attending client intake meetings, Questionings, and court applications. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to be paired with lawyers on our team who will offer them leadership, mentorship, guidance, and feedback on a regular basis. How You'll Make a Difference
The primary goal of this position is to learn, develop, and contribute to a phenomenal client experience in all practice areas. As a Summer Law Student, you will have the opportunity to:
- Attend orientation training to familiarize yourself with all areas of Litco Law
- Spend time with lawyers in a mentorship setting
- Meet with lawyers in various practice areas across the organization
- Shadow in each practice area (including intake meetings, court application, etc.)
- Drafting liability assessments, court pleadings, and research memorandum
