We’re looking for an outstanding Product Designer to join our team.

Design methodologies employed in this role include, but are not limited to:
Qualitative User Research, Competitive and Experiential Analysis, User and Stakeholder Interviews, Information Architecture, Wireframing and UI Systems Design, Digital Prototyping, Concept Validation Testing, Usability Testing, Formal Documentation, Accessibility Auditing, and Product-Based Storytelling.

Job duties

    • Conduct comprehensive research to gather insights into customer behaviors, needs, and pain points.
    • Utilize various methodologies, including qualitative data analysis, surveys, user interviews, and ethnographic studies.
    • Synthesize research findings to inform design decisions and ensure user-centered design practices.
    • Design and implement usability tests.
    • Analyze test results to identify usability issues and opportunities for improvement.
    • Use insights to iterate and refine design solutions to optimize user experience.
    • Develop and manage IA deliverables such as site maps, navigation structures, and content hierarchies.
    • Ensure the logical organization of information to facilitate intuitive navigation and enhance overall user experience.
    • Create essential UX artifacts including wireframes, user flows, journey maps, principal decks and interactive prototypes.
    • Ensure these deliverables accurately represent user needs and business objectives, providing clear guidance to developers and stakeholders.
    • Engage in an iterative design process, working closely with clients, developers, and other stakeholders.
    • Incorporate feedback at every stage, adjusting designs as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
    • Develop high-fidelity designs for web, mobile, and spatial interfaces, paying meticulous attention to detail.
    • This includes designing layout, typography, color schemes, icons, and other UI elements that align with brand guidelines and enhance usability and user delight.
    • Create illustrations, animations, and 3D models as needed for projects on an as-needed basis.
    • Use these elements to add visual interest to designs and marketing/ sales materials.
    • Construct interactive prototypes using tools like Figma.
    • These prototypes simulate the final product, allowing for testing and client review.
    • Utilize industry-standard design tools, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), and others, to create and refine design assets.
    • Ensure that all assets meet technical specifications and are optimized for performance.
    • Prepare design files for handoff to developers, including documentation of accessibility considerations.
    • Ensure that assets are properly formatted and organized, and provide detailed documentation to support the development process.
    • Collaborate closely with developers during design and implementation—providing assets, guidance, and clarification as needed.
    • Review developer output to ensure that the design is executed correctly, making adjustments as necessary.
    • Contribute to user testing sessions to evaluate design concepts and prototypes.
    • Gather feedback and use it to guide design iterations.
    • Contribute to design sprints with clients, facilitating workshops to rapidly ideate, prototype, and test design solutions.
    • Guide teams through the process, ensuring that objectives are met within the sprint timeline.
    • Facilitate design workshops and working sessions with clients and/or peers, guiding them through design thinking exercises to explore creative solutions.

Position requirements

    • Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Design, Human-Computer Interaction and Design, a closely-related degree or the equivalent.

Our hiring process moves quickly and consists of several stages for candidates who capture our attention with their initial submission, sometimes including but not limited to a short preliminary phone interview, a series of video interviews, and a short take-home exercise which you'll have up to a week to complete.

Compensation is $121,000 a year.
