We’re looking for a marketing associate to join our team. This is a junior- or mid-level position located at our headquarters in Minneapolis.

Who you are
You’re a multi-disciplinary marketing generalist who’s comfortable across a broad range of marketing activities from managing events to creating video content for social media. You have a passion for driving great outcomes for business on all channels, from websites to events to social media to newsletter content. You’re a terrific communicator who can help reinforce our reputation as a top-tier digital product studio with incredibly high standards. You are friendly and warm; people like you. You have a demonstrated ability to approach multifaceted problems holistically and create elegant, simple solutions. Above all, you’re a self-starter who thrives in autonomy and can work effectively with little oversight.

What you bring to the table

    • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a consulting environment or as part of an in-house digital product business.
    • A passion for networking and communication, and a desire to represent our team at numerous events and conferences in the industry.
    • A flexible schedule and fluid availability to accommodate event planning and management (for events hosted/organized by our company) and event attendance (to represent our company at events not organized by us)
    • Mastery of writing for social media, newsletters, and other content related to the activities of the business.
    • A knack for video production: filming and editing
    • An excellent eye for photography (both composition and editing) to maintain a high bar on the quality of outbound marketing.
    • Demonstrated ability or willingness to learn basic Sketch design skills to work within predefined design templates for social posts.
    • Experience with event planning and management at size and scale.
    • Experience working with outside vendors and partners to execute on projects and/or events.
    • Experience working with and managing sponsor relationships.
    • Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to present and defend creative choices persuasively at varying levels of resolution.
    • Above-average discipline and personal organization skills.
    • A demonstrated hunger for personal and professional growth.
    • A self-evident love and care for the art of marketing well.
