Position Overview & Purpose
The Manager, Field Services will lead the regional Field Service team in delivery of all Services for a greenfield fiber-based broadband ISP and will build the Field Services organization from the ground up along with LiveOak’s Leadership.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Collaborates with leadership to determine and prioritize business strategies as they pertain to field services within the region
    • Ensures pace of delivery targets are being met
    • Oversee all functions pertaining to the delivery and support of services within your region
    • Implement robust training program for workforce development from entry to mastery
    • Ensures adequate staffing to meet high scale demands of growing company
    • Collaborates with Project Management, Construction, Sales, Customer Service, and Engineering to ensure consistent, exceptional customer experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Strong oral and written communications skills
    • Outstanding working knowledge of Fiber based Field Operations
    • Demonstrated leadership and teambuilding skills, including in cross functional teams and situations
    • Process oriented, automation forward thinker
    • Strong leadership and motivational skills to steer large field organization 

Basic Qualifications & Competencies

    • 10 or more years’ work experience in Telco/Cable Field Operations
    • 4-year college degree, or equivalent experience
    • Manager/Sr. Manager level or higher in current role
    • Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.  

Preferred Qualifications & Competencies

    • 5+ years’ experience leading regional Field Operations organizations  
    • Heavy emphasis in career on delivery automation
    • Has led field teams of 50+ technicians
