Position Overview

The Marketing Creative Designer & Content Specialist will be responsible for creating compelling visual and written content that resonates with our target audience. This role combines the art of design with the science of content strategy to enhance our brand presence across various platforms and achieve marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have a solid portfolio showcasing their ability to design engaging marketing materials and craft clear, user-centric content.

Creative Design

    • Develop and execute innovative marketing materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, email templates, and landing pages
    • Ensure all designs align with our brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement creative concepts that drive engagement and conversions
    • Utilize design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma to produce high-quality visuals.

Content Strategy & Creation

    • Understand product and marketing strategies to build content themes and topics that align with our business goals and resonate with our target audiences
    • Manage relationships and deliverables with an outsourced content marketing agency and other third-party vendors
    • Create communication plans for events, webinars, third-party research and other marketing campaigns that require team alignment
    • Collaborate with and build influential relationships with internal and cross-functional teams, including product, sales and operations, to ensure content accuracy and consistency
    • Stay current on industry best practices for content strategy and apply new, innovative ideas and creative ways to tell stories
    • Collaborate with the customer lifecycle and product team to write, edit and promote customer case studies and testimonials
    • Understand which content will target customers at the top, middle, and bottom of the funnel
    • Be forward-thinking in content promotion and distribution strategies
    • Work with the marketing team to continually measure and analyze data to learn what content drives engagement
    • Continuously maintain and improve content marketing processes, templates, style guide and brand voice

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, preferred
    • 3–5 years of experience in marketing design and content creation, preferably in the fintech or tech industry; start up experience a plus
    • Solid proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma
    • Knowledge and proficiency in Google Suite and web CMS platforms, e.g. WordPress, Elementor, etc.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
    • Ability to communicate complex ideas simply at different stages in the customer buying journey
    • Proven track record of managing high-performing content marketing programs
    • Ability to conceive, draft, proofread and edit written materials quickly while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
    • Excellent attention to detail both for copy editing and maintaining consistent brand voice and identity across all our content assets
    • A self-starter with a passion for collaborating within an entrepreneurial environment
