The investment group backing the company has experienced leadership with a proven track record of building, scaling and successfully exiting platform businesses across multiple industries, providing ongoing strategic guidance for growth initiatives.

Position Summary
The position requires a skilled FP&A Director with strong attention to detail, adept at financial reporting, analysis and communicating the relevant financial insights across the organization.  This role is pivotal in our expansion strategy as we acquire multiple companies per month and seek to include these newly acquired businesses into our financial reporting and analysis to support our newly acquired partner companies and RYB management in their day-to-day operations and strategic planning. In your position, you will manage other FP&A team members (managers, analysts), while performing hands-on FP&A work yourself. You will both oversee RYB’s FP&A function, deliverables, personnel, and act as the primary FP&A contact for one or more segments of our business.

Postition Responsibilites

    • Preparing weekly KPI flashes to RYB’s partner companies and management
    • Preparing monthly management reporting inclusive of financial and operational KPIs
    • Building and maintaining a bottoms-up annual budget and ongoing forecast for RYB’s partner companies and consolidated for corporate HQ
    • Building and maintaining a bottoms-up long-term operating model (5-yr outlook)
    • Collaborating with RYB’s business analytics team on data warehouse and data visualization projects
    • Supporting initiatives that drive organic growth such as de novo store openings, incentive compensation plans, pricing, margin, and cost structure analyses, assisting with all financial planning and analysis related to these and other management and growth initiatives.
    • Supporting capital markets transactions such as equity and debt financings through preparing financial reporting, analyses, and models
    • Integrating newly acquired partner companies into RYB’s financial reporting and budget in a fast timeframe

Education and Work Experience

    • Minimum 7 years of proven experience in FP&A
    • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
    • Preferred:
    • Experience working with various business-units or company divisions with different business models and financial considerations
    • Experience working in a fast-pace, M&A-driven environment
    • Experience with Tableau, Netsuite, Solution7
