Note: This role is hybrid - 4 days in office and 1 day remote per week.

The impact you'll make:
You will drive the evolution and extensibility of the platform that includes services & components that can be used by all businesses powered by Loblaw Digital. Your team will ship products, features and experiences that offer millions of Canadians a delightfully simple, personalized and convenient shopping experience.

What You'll Do:
As the Senior Director, Product Management for the Platform team, you will be responsible for leading the definition of the product vision and strategy for platform services alongside your cross-functional partners. 

In collaboration with your team of Product Managers, build the roadmap and partner on the delivery of common services and components used across new and existing e-commerce businesses that enable us to deliver with speed, efficiency, and scalability.  Together with your cross-functional partners you will iterate on ways of working and processes, to ensure internal clients, and our customers, can leverage the full extent of capabilities the platform provides.

What You'll Bring:

    • 10+ years of hands-on experience leading the end-to-end creation and development of products, services and experiences that deliver meaningful customer value at a fast-growing or established technology company
    • Experience building complex platform projects (Retail or e-commerce will be considered an asset)
    • You have lead teams of product managers with proven experience in building high performing teams aligned to outcomes & metrics and evolved the overall product management practice
    • A bias for action, and can foster a culture of speed, candor, curiosity and experimentation 
    • Comfortable operating in a matrix environment, communicating with senior stakeholders and establishing and leveraging frameworks for assessing trade-offs between competing requests and priorities
    • You easily build relationships with partners and stakeholders, and have been part of large, cross-functional teams that are working to solve complex problems
