The Impact you'll make 

The Digital Site Merchandiser plays a vital role in optimizing the performance, conversion, and engagement of products on the website. They are responsible for strategically merchandising products within seasonal deliveries, ensuring the site's taxonomy is up to date, and setting up relevant search categories and keywords. They support in-season marketing initiatives by strategically placing products on the site and provide reports on style and delivery performance along with recommendations for future opportunities. The Digital Merchandiser also manages online shops, product badging, cross-posting through PCX, and contributes to weekly team meetings with cross-functional partners. Their overall function is to improve conversion and engagement on the site to support Joe Fresh eCommerce business growth.

Site Merchandising Experience and Strategy 
·         Ensure accurate and strategic merchandising of products, aligning with brand standards, customer expectations, market trends, and business strategy. Strategically merchandise seasonal deliveries to optimize product performance, conversion rates, and engagement on the site. 
·         Support in-season marketing initiatives by effectively merchandising products and strategically placing them on the site 
·         Advocate for customers' needs and provide insights to internal teams regarding site maintenance, operations, performance analysis (product/category pages), internal search improvements, and cross-functional programs for continuous growth of technology stack. 
·         Contribute to customer experience journey mapping activities with the goal of improving conversion rates and engagement 
 
Promotional Management 
·         Efficiently set up promotions for effective implementation. 
·         Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of promotions throughout their duration. 
·         Update promotional legal language as required to comply with regulations and policies. 
·         Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) checks on promotions to ensure accuracy and functionality. 
·         Implement promo and pricing badging effectively to highlight promotional offers. 
 
Optimize Site SEO Performance 
·         Optimize product details and descriptions to maximize search visibility. 
·         Establish and maintain product taxonomy, navigation categories, and keywords for improved on-site search, navigation, and product content quality. 
·         Conduct keyword optimization to enhance search engine rankings. 
·         Collaborate with content/marketing specialists to implement effective content strategies. 
·         Ensure strategic product placement, categorization, and naming for better site organization and usability. 
 
Reporting & Insights 
·         Generate weekly reports on key programs, products, and site metrics. 
·         Analyze site and product metrics to provide valuable insights that inform business decisions. 
·         Prepare ad hoc reports as required to support specific business needs. 
 
Does this sound like you? 
·         Post-secondary education or equivalent experience 
·         Naturally curious and passionate about digging into consumer & market insights, data and mining for opportunities 
·         Strong communication skills 
·         Strong attention to detail and eye for fashion 
·         Outstanding time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage varying workloads 
·         An energetic team player with the ability to build positive relationships and work cross-functionally 
·         Proficient with MS Office (specifically Excel) 
·         Previous ecommerce merchandising, product onboarding or ecommerce website management experience is required, previous apparel or general merchandise experience is preferred.
