We are looking for a talented and experienced Civil CAD Technician or Designer to join our Water Resources team. This position can be based out of any of our Indiana offices: Evansville, Indianapolis, Jeffersonville, South Bend, Mishawaka, or Fort Wayne.

In this position the candidate will:
- Produce drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit for projects pertaining to design, plans, and specifications for Water Resources projects that include water, wastewater, and stormwater.
- Prepare GIS exhibits for design and planning studies.
- Perform quantity computations and checks.
- Read and interpret schematic and construction plans.
- Understand and work with surveying data provided by survey department.
- Apply basic engineering standards to plan development and layout.
- Ensure project designs are in conformance with the latest design specifications and various Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations.
- Completes tasks assigned by the Project Engineer/Manager within allocated budget and schedule and proactively communicate status of task assignments.
- Perform related work as required.
Qualifications for this role:
- Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent knowledge and experience
- 5+ years of relevant CAD experience
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS and geometric functions
- A general understanding of construction material and practices, and the ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of current state/county standards and specifications procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
