In this position, the candidate will:
- Provide Tier 1 IT support, including monitoring, resolving, and escalating tickets related to: Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, etc.). Production applications used across the firm. Password resets for Active Directory, applications, and website access. Remote connectivity (VPN, RDP, SSO/MFA). File share access request and permission changes. Printer hardware and software troubleshooting. Mobile device setup and basic functionality.
- Deploy and maintain equipment, including imaging and configuring workstations, laptops, and virtual machines.
- Support IT documentation efforts, including creating, maintaining, and updating documentation as procedures evolve.
Qualifications for this role:
- Interpersonal skills: Demonstrates a friendly, respectful, and patient approach to customer support. Communicates effectively in both written and verbal formats. Chooses the most appropriate communication method for the situation (phone, email, or text). Clearly explains technical concepts in language suited to the audience. Approachable, open to spontaneous questions and in-person support. Works well in a team environment and knows when to seek guidance.
- Organizational & Work Habits: Effectively manages time and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Maintains strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Follows instructions accurately and documents work as needed. Self-motivated and takes initiative without constant direction. Eager to learn, with a curious mindset and a willingness to grow.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of PC maintenance and troubleshooting. Demonstrates strong research and problem-solving abilities. Familiar with monitor, docking station, and peripheral connectivity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Office 365 and on-premises). Capable of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting production applications
- Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between office locations (occasional overnight travel may be required). Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. of equipment.
