We are looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join our Roadway/Highway design team in St. Louis, MO or Edwardsville, IL. The ideal candidate for this role will be an EIT with experience working on local agency and/or DOT roadway design projects. We provide multi-disciplined services for a variety of public agencies and private entities, including transportation design; water resources design; environmental analysis & permitting; construction engineering & inspection; traffic engineering & transportation planning; surveying; and land acquisition & appraisal. Our Roadway/Highway Design team is involved in a wide variety of street, roadway, highway and multi-modal transportation design projects for local public agencies and state DOT’s.

In this position, the candidate will:
- Work on DOT and/or LPA roadway design projects.
- Perform standard computations or analyses.
- Prepare drawings and visual aids.
- Perform routine technical work.
- Perform quality control self-checks of assigned work.
- Assist in the development of various preliminary engineering studies.
- Perform other duties associated with this position and level of experience.
Qualifications for this role:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited civil engineering program.
- Passed FE/EI exam
- 2+ years of experience in this discipline
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
