About this Role:
- Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute a marketing and communications strategy that drives awareness of the Orbitworks name, with a content calendar that highlights both thought leadership around the production of satellites at scale, and the excellent execution of the business, including but not limited to customer wins, facility milestones, and event participation.
- Digital Presence: Drive the design, content and development of Orbitworks' website as a key source of information. Content and updates are disseminated across relevant internet channels such as professional social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
- Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate closely with the executive team to align marketing initiatives with Orbitworks’ strategic business goals and priorities.
- Event Promotion: Coordinate pre- and post-event communication and marketing plans, ensuring Orbitworks’ participation in conferences, trade shows, and industry gatherings is maximized and well-publicized.
- International Coordination: Interface with Loft Orbital’s marketing team and Marlan space, as well as the broader Orbitworks team, in the development of marketing strategies.
- Material Preparation: Craft engaging content, including press releases, blog posts, presentations, and event collateral, that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analytics and Optimization: Track and analyze marketing campaign performance to optimize reach, engagement, and impact.
Must Haves:
- Proven experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, ideally within the aerospace, technology, or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including content management systems, analytics, and social media management tools.
- Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with a knack for crafting compelling narratives that drive engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with executive leadership, synthesizing input into actionable strategies.
- Track record of managing projects independently, with the ability to balance strategic vision and hands-on execution.
- Passion for the space industry and Orbitworks’ mission to make space simple and accessible.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in UAE-based or MENA-region industries, with knowledge of regional media and marketing landscapes.
- Background in branding and design, with familiarity using graphic design tools like Adobe Suite, Figma, or Canva.
- Knowledge of the satellite or new space ecosystem, including key players and trends.
- Experience working with government and corporate stakeholders to align marketing with broader public and private interests.
Orbitworks' mission is to make space simple for organizations that want to deploy physical and virtual missions to space. Building on Loft Orbital's heritage, Orbitworks will be the first commercial firm in the United Arab Emirates to mass-manufacture satellites. Orbitworks aims to manufacture tens of satellites annually and operates out of a 50,000-square-foot facility in Abu Dhabi.
