We’re looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who is committed to consistently delivering quality products and a delightful user experience to our customers.  You are enthusiastic about  creating a culture of quality that extends beyond our engineering organization.  Your contributions will help ensure that both our code and our processes are well-tested, maintainable and scalable.

Our ideal candidate has:

    • 5+ years proven experience in a Quality Engineering role
    • A solid understanding of testing methodologies in a continuous deployment environment
    • The ability  to independently plan and coordinate testing on high-impact, complex features or components
    • Automation experience, especially API and integration testing
    • Experience working with Jenkins pipelines, or other CI/CD tools
    • A strong familiarity with Git or other source control tools
    • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

    • Familiarity with working in an agile development environment that’s cloud-based
    • Experience with a test case management tool like Xray for Jira, or TestRail, etc
    • An understanding of testing in a service oriented architecture (SOA)
    • Experience with a scripting language
    • Knowledge of the travel industry

What you'll be doing:

    • Create and maintain test cases as part of our large testing repository
    • Participate in both manual and automated testing efforts
    • Execute all flavors of testing, including but not limited to functional, API, integration and end-to-end
    • Coach engineering teams to set appropriate quality goals and acceptance criteria
    • Help with debugging and root cause analysis of defects and tracking them in Jira
