Position Overview: As a Sales Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our sales teams specializing in Windows. Your expertise and leadership will empower our sales representatives to excel in consultative selling, customer engagement, and product knowledge. You will design, deliver, and facilitate training programs that equip our salesforce with the skills and tools they need to exceed targets and provide unparalleled customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with department heads to design and develop effective and engaging development programs, including but not limited to:
Sales Training Program
With product-specific variations for Windows and other products
Sales Manager Development Program
Work with team to develop training program for all departments
These programs will encompass sales techniques, product knowledge, installation techniques, technology training, safety protocols, customer service skills, management skills, culture management and other topics as required
Learning modalities will include role playing, simulations, team exercises, 1:1 coaching, group coaching, field training, presentations, written curriculums, videos, e-learning, assessments and more
·         Conduct classroom, remote and digital training and development programs for Sales
·         Manage training logistics, including inventory, scheduling, travel, etc.
·         Assist in implementation of Learning Management System
·         Participate in feedback loops between departments including Recruiting, HR, department Managers and Branch Managers
·         Continuously assess and improve existing training materials, manuals and resources
·         Collaborate on company-wide employee recognition programs
·         Assist in planning bi-annual sales meetings, President’s Club dinners and trips
·         Provide training and access to technologies relevant to sales and training
·         Travel as requested by Management < 25%
 
 
Qualifications:
·         Proven experience in sales, preferably within the home improvement or related industry
·         Knowledge of a 1-call close system
·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·         Training or coaching experience is a plus
·         Passion for driving results and helping others succeed
·         Adaptability and willingness to learn about our products and industry
·         Ability to work collaboratively and independently
