LPA is seeking a passionate Part Time Operations Specialist to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. Our San Diego studio is continuing to grow, and you’ll have the opportunity to be a central part of our expansion. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members across studios on projects that are both local and across California and Texas. Our clients are both public and private and represent nine different market segments so your career can take many different trajectories.

You will be working with directors and principals in the studio and across the firm. We are looking to you to help us continue to develop our talented designers and engineers.

What you will do:

    • Receive and direct visitors and clients 
    • Manage lobby area 
    • General clerical duties including mailing and distributing incoming correspondence 
    • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails 
    • Word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and filing 
    • Support studio and firmwide meetings via Microsoft Teams 
    • Coordinate client and office events throughout the year 
    • Maintain San Diego team calendar 
    • Check presentation technology and setup conference rooms for meetings

Operations Specialist Requirements:

    • Above average skills in the Microsoft Office Suite 
    • Expertise in Microsoft Teams 
    • Ability to multitask and focus on various responsibilities at any given time 
    • Experience in providing administrative support to management and technical staff  
    • Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
    • Curious and open minded to learn and assume increased responsibilities

The salary range for this position is $46,000 - $60,000 and is eligible for annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
