LTA Research and Exploration, an aerospace start-up, is seeking a motivated Technical Project Manager to help support our team in building a revolutionary ‘lighter than air’ flight vehicle. This unique position allows you to have hands-on contributions through all phases of development, from concept to flight of an experimental aerospace vehicle. You will work within a dynamic engineering and design team to help plan, conceptualize, rapidly prototype, test and implement innovative solutions. We believe in fast-cycle development and approach to flight systems development with the motto "build a little, test a little, learn a lot.”

Responsibilities

    • Support the planning and implementation of team projects
    • Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination
    • Maintain and support all documentation
    • Prepare and present project progress
    • Coordinate cross-functional planning meetings and maintain meeting notes
    • Weekly updates for progress reports

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Engineering or a related technical field
    • Exceptional leadership skills
    • Strong technical background
    • Impeccable organizational skills and acute attention to detail
    • Self-starter who can handle multiple projects with competing priorities with minimal direction
    • Confident and articulate communicator
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to provide professional presentations to leadership
    • Ability to work within a complex and fluid, fast-paced, demanding work environment
    • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal business functions globally as well as external advisors
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project software applications for analysis and presentation

Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with project/program management software including MS Project, Wrike, JIRA, Confluence, Asana, etc.
    • Familiarity with Solidworks or other CAD software
    • Familiarity with the aviation & aerospace industry, and associated regulatory requirements
    • Supply chain management certification or experience
