LTA Research and Exploration, an aerospace start-up, is seeking a motivated Technical Project Manager to help build a revolutionary ‘lighter than air’ flight vehicle. You will work within a dynamic engineering and design team to help plan, conceptualize, rapidly prototype, test and implement innovative solutions for the design, fabrication, and assembly of large experimental flight vehicles. We believe in fast-cycle development and approach to flight systems development with the motto "build a little, test a little, learn a lot.”

This unique position allows for hands-on contributions through all phases of development, from concept to flight of an experimental aerospace vehicle. Our ideal candidate is a high-energy, passionate professional interested in learning more about project management.


    • Support the planning and implementation of Program Management team projects 
    • Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination
    • Maintain and support all documentation 
    • Prepare and present the progress of the project
    • Coordinate cross-functional planning meetings and maintain meeting notes
    • Weekly updates for progress reports   


    • Exceptional leadership skills. 
    • Strong technical background Impeccable organizational skills and acute attention to detail. 
    • Self-starter who can handle multiple projects with competing priorities with minimal direction. 
    • Confident and articulate communicator.
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to provide professional presentations to senior-level managers and executive leadership. 
    • Ability to work within a complex and fluid, fast-paced, demanding work environment. 
    • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal business functions around the globe as well as external advisors. 
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project software applications for analysis and presentation. 
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Engineering or a related technical field  

Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with project/program management software including MS Project, Wrike, JIRA, Confluence, Asana, etc.
    • Familiarity with Solidworks or other CAD software
    • Familiarity with the aviation & aerospace industry, and associated regulatory requirements
    • Supply chain management certification or experience
