About the Role
As the Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping our monetization strategy by conducting rigorous analysis, building pricing models, and developing data-backed recommendations that support go-to-market decisions. You'll report to the CFO and work closely with leaders across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to inform how we package and price our offerings.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role suited for someone who combines analytical depth with strong business acumen. You’ll be responsible for uncovering insights about customer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive positioning—and turning those insights into pricing strategies that drive growth and customer value.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and independent operator who can confidently tackle complex pricing questions, communicate clearly with executives, and continuously iterate on pricing and packaging as our product evolves.
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, customer behavior, and usage patterns to drive strategic pricing decisions across products and segments.
- Build and own dynamic pricing models that provide clear guidelines, guardrails, and scenario planning by product, market, and use case.
- Partner with Finance and Engineering to understand cost drivers, margins, and technical constraints that impact pricing feasibility.
- Collaborate closely with Product Marketing and Product Management to surface value drivers, assess competitive positioning, and explore opportunities for tiering or packaging changes.
- Use predictive analytics and elasticity modeling to estimate the downstream impact of proposed pricing or packaging changes.
- Prepare and present complex analysis in a way that is clear, actionable, and aligned with executive-level decision making.
- Support go-to-market planning by developing pricing frameworks for new feature launches, tier structures, and monetization models.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to understand field feedback, evaluate discounting and incentive strategies, and identify pricing friction points.
- Track pricing KPIs and revenue performance against models, recommend course corrections, and continuously improve our pricing engine.
- Stay current on SaaS pricing trends, packaging innovations, and monetization strategies — and bring forward ideas to evolve our pricing architecture.
Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue operations, or product monetization in a B2B SaaS or startup technology company.
- Proven ability to perform complex quantitative analysis (e.g., pricing elasticity, scenario modeling, cohort analysis) and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong grasp of SaaS pricing models, including subscription-based, usage-based, tiered, and value-based pricing.
- Experience leveraging predictive analytics and modeling techniques to forecast pricing and packaging impact on revenue, adoption, and margins.
- Adept at working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Sales to influence strategic decisions and enable monetization success.

- Familiarity with AI tools and technologies and how they may influence product differentiation and pricing opportunities.
- Exceptional communication skills — able to distill complex analysis into crisp, stakeholder-ready narratives that support strategic decisions.
- Highly curious, proactive, and self-directed — comfortable operating with limited structure and pushing initiatives forward.
- Strategic thinker with an ability to zoom out to the market and zoom in to the model, identifying pricing levers that drive growth and competitive advantage.
- Acceptable background check
Competencies
