Location:  Southfield, MI (Detroit suburb).  You will work out of your own private + lovely office next to our CEO and CFO's offices.
Work Hours:  Core hours are typically 9am-6pm., Monday through Friday. Because this role directly supports the CEO, there may occasionally be needs outside these hours. When that happens, you’ll have the flexibility to adjust your schedule so your overall work/life balance is protected.
Reports to: CEO and SVP of People

Note:  Our ownership is not changing but our company name is changing and we are rebranding on September 2nd so as of that date lulafit will have a different name. We are super excited about this refresh and can't wait to share it with you.


Your Mission:
Your mission is to be the CEO’s right hand—masterfully managing her calendar, preparing her for key meetings, and providing trusted personal support.  This will be about 60% of your job.  The other 40% of your role will involve playing a vital role in helping the SVP of People attract and hire top talent to grow our team.

The Legacy You’ll Leave:
Your impact was felt across the company. By managing time, priorities, and relationships effectively, it felt to the CEO and the rest of our team that she was in two places at once.  You helped transform the business by keeping meetings purposeful, teams aligned, and high-impact initiatives executed seamlessly. Your ability to streamline operations, strengthen key relationships, and act as a trusted advisor made you indispensable to both the CEO and the SVP of People.

What You Are Responsible For:

    •  1. CEO Professional Responsibilities. Strategically manage and prioritize the CEO’s calendar to ensure her time is focused on the highest-impact prioritiesSchedule and coordinate internal and external meetings, calls, and commitments.  Ensure her calendar is updated daily to reflect the latest changesEnsure every meeting agenda is clear and outcome-drivenPrepare the CEO for engagements and travel by providing timely materials, context, and backgroundTrack follow-up items and ensure they’re completed on timeWork seamlessly with teams across the organization to keep projects moving forward, foster alignment, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks

    • 2. Recruiting Support  Partner with our People Team to bring in top talent—and be the first friendly face many candidates meet. To keep the process running smoothly you will:  Review candidate applications in our applicant tracking system with a sharp eyeCoordinate and schedule interviews with professionalism and careLead initial video interviews to assess fit and give candidates a great first impressionProduce clear, organized notes so the team can confidently decide who moves forwardHelp with recruiting projects - including building talent benches for our future roles

    • 3. CEO Personal Support As a working mom of two, who travels frequently, the CEO will also need personal assistance across varying aspects of her personal and professional life. You will:Coordinate household services or meeting contractorsRun light errands (such as mailing packages, dry cleaning, or making purchases)Drive her to important meetings or the airport  It might be common to be spending a few days a month working at her home where her 2 young children, dog, and husband (who is the Playbook CFO) reside.

Who You Are - Baseline Expectations:

    • Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in a role where you successfully brought structure to fast-moving situations and managed complex details with ease.
    • Exceptional Work Ethic: You take pride in delivering high-quality work, staying focused on results, and following through until every job is done.
    • Tech Savvy: Comfortable working across both Google Workspace (our internal tools) and Microsoft Office (our clients’ tools), with strong skills in creating compelling presentations—especially in Google Slides.
    • Bonus Points if You Have: Experience supporting executives or senior leadersExposure to recruiting or people operationsA background in hospitality, commercial real estate, or client service
