We’re looking for an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Analyst to help us keep our
financial operations running smoothly and accurately as we continue to grow and disrupt the
professional education industry.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative company where your
attention to detail and knack for organization will help ensure that vendors are paid on time, customers are billed correctly, and our finance operations stay efficient.

This role blends accounting fundamentals with operational excellence and provides an
opportunity to work with a collaborative finance team that values precision and process
improvement.

Who You Are

    • 1-2 years of experience in AR/AP or a related accounting role
    • Adept at managing multiple workflows and catching discrepancies before they become problems
    • Understand the importance of timely payments and professional communication
    • Experienced with QuickBooks Online and Google Sheets; bonus points for exposure to Float (expense management tool) or other modern finance platforms
    • Naturally organized with a clean approach to documentation and reconciliations
    • A team player who enjoys solving operational puzzles and improving processes
    • Bonus: You've thrived in a startup or high-growth environment before

What You'll Do

    • Accounts Payable:
    • Review and accurately process vendor invoices
    • Coordinate weekly pay runs and ensure approvals are obtained
    • Maintain clear, consistent communication with vendors
    • Support month-end close tasks related to AP, accruals, and reconciliations
    • Maintain and administer Float cards and enforce policy compliance
    • Stay on top of Float updates to maximize its potential
    • Maintain up-to-date internal approval workflows and org chart alignment
    • Own and update SOPs related to payables and other finance processes

    • Accounts Receivable:
    • Manage end-to-end invoicing and collections
    • Track incoming payments and apply them to customer accounts
    • Follow up on overdue invoices and minimize aging balances
    • Collaborate with Sales and RevOps to resolve billing issues
    • Reconcile customer balances and issue receipts or statements as needed

    • Ad Hoc Responsibilities:
    • Assist with month-end reconciliations beyond AR/AP
    • Fill out vendor onboarding forms for new customers
    • Support internal control initiatives and process improvement efforts as we scale

Please note this is a flexible hybrid role based out of Toronto, Canada. Employees will be expected to be able to commute to the office 2 times a week. However, for training & onboarding purposes, the in-office expectation time will increase.
