About the Team
The Revenue Manager plays a key leadership role in Lumivero’s revenue recognition and order to cash process. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy & compliance while driving process improvements, system implementations & policy influences as we scale for continued growth. You will ensure the accuracy of our revenue recognition, commissions accruals, and related accounting, in compliance with ASC 606, ASC 340 and our internal accounting policies.
You are an experienced CPA with at least 4 years of progressively responsible experience, with a minimum of 2 years in revenue specific roles. You should have experience from a global, growing software company that has on-premise software revenue and SaaS.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the Company’s revenue recognition accounting results are accurate and in compliance with ASC 606 and internal accounting policies.
- Act as a subject matter expert in accounting for on-premise term licenses, SAAS, and usage-based SaaS contracts
- Manage and lead the revenue close and reporting process, including the review of key controls, reconciliations, and other various forecast and reporting deliverables.
- Collaborate with colleagues in FP&A to explain variances, provide inputs to forecast, and identify trends in revenue
- Assist with preparation and review of revenue-related schedules, financial statements, and disclosures for internal and external reporting purposes.
- Coordinate with Operations to provide accurate and beneficial reporting in Salesforce.
Required Skills and Experience
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA certification or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with system enhancement projects
- Experience using Netsuite, and with other revenue accounting systems
- Highly organized detail-oriented with experience managing multiple priorities, large-scale projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS, software, or technology-related company.
