Senior Games Producer

As a producer for the Games team, you will work across multidisciplinary teams (science, engineering, art, product, marketing and QA) to collaborate on defining and executing the strategy for delivery to achieve the games team vision. Since games are at the heart of our product, the Producer will be instrumental to building the future of Lumosity.


    • Report into the engineering group and simultaneously manage multiple games from prototype to release across web and mobile
    • Facilitate the development of each game’s scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility within defined constraints
    • Deliver on project goals by overseeing, coordinating, tracking and managing the activities of the team and competing priorities
    • Develop a detailed project planning process to track schedules and progress for multiple games and maintain each individual game’s status
    • Partner with marketing, web, and mobile to plan and oversee bi-weekly releases of games content
    • Find the best communication tools and strategy for keeping the games team informed on goals, deadlines, and changes
    • Provide concise and regular updates to key stakeholders within and outside of the team
    • Anticipate and proactively manage project risks and blockers and drive them to closure
    • Organize and maintain all games-related documentation
    • Establish processes and best practices for the team, reviewing them constantly and collaboratively to ensure efficiency
    • Participate in recruiting to fill open roles with high quality candidates
    • Facilitate team meetings by scheduling and setting the agendas, taking notes, and following up on action items


    • 5 years of experience in a production role: producer / project manager
    • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and execute with minimal supervision
    • Deep interest in games and understanding of game development process
    • Experience delivering games on mobile or web
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
    • Extensive experience building and maintaining schedules and releases across multiple games and teams
    • Strong leadership skills to influence and motivate with a clear understanding of your style and its impact on others
    • Ability to transform team goals into a strategy for delivering
    • Experience orchestrating work across engineering, QA, art, design, science, and product with an understanding and respect for each discipline
