Are you passionate about IT, customer service and travelling? 

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Deskside Consultant for our Calgary branch to work onsite to provide end-user and IT facilities support to VIP Users at the client site.

A Day in the Life:

    • Create, manage, prioritize, and resolve tickets for issues pertaining to technical devices throughout the client site
    • Escalate issues to the appropriate teams as required
    • Assist end-users with questions about any of our supported software and computing platforms in a professional and courteous manner
    • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
    • Monitor the performance of clients’ desktop infrastructure and device plans for improved efficiency
    • Install applications and computer peripherals
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a variety of environments
    • Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
    • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs

What You Bring:

    • 5+ years of related experience
    • 4+ year(s) of customer service experience
    • Experience with the following:
    • ·         Supporting a Microsoft environment in a deskside support role
    • ·         Microsoft Office 2010/2013/O365
    • ·         Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
    • ·         Remote support
    • ·         PC/Printer hardware/VPN/Citrix
    • ·         Active Directory
    • ·         Supporting mobile devices
    • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals like printers
    • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
    • Excellent technical ability to resolve requests
    • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
    • ITIL certified
