Are you an experienced project or program manager with a passion for technology?  Do you enjoy working on and realigning to meet organizational requirements?  

Long View is seeking a diligent and experienced Project Manager for our Calgary office who is passionate about working in a large and complex organization to support organizational alignment planning!

You enjoy building relationships with your colleagues, stakeholders, and project teams and you have exceptional leadership and facilitation capabilities.  In this role, you will work with a project team, client executive community, and functional management, to lead the Organizational change to meet the business goals and purpose.  This role will include managing Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Technical Architects to successfully complete the project deliverables and work closely with the overall team to ensure success. 

A Day in the Life:

    • Provide direction on program delivery to support our customers' organizational vision
    • Facilitate knowledge sharing, best practices and continuous improvement within the PMO Practice
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to the PMO team as required and be seen as a senior resource within the branch
    • Collaborate with branch Leadership to develop hiring plans based on branch forecasts and current utilization
    • Perform technical interviews for potential candidates for the PMO Team
    • Act as an escalation point for matters related to our offerings (go-to-resource) and lead or assist in the development of resolution plans as required
    • Providing expert advice to help the organization reach its goal and purpose
    • Participate in and advocate for cross branch alignment on project delivery excellence
    • Provide insights on technology delivery as required (ongoing improvements)
    • Champion and advocate for the Long View portfolio of offerings
    • Assist with sales opportunities including internal and external presentations

What You Bring:

    • 5+ years of experience ina Project Manager position with a focus on multiple large scale enterprise projects within IT
    • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and project teams
    • Knowledge of change and problem management and ability to anticipate risks
    • Ability to build relationships and foster trust with stakeholders, project teams, and project leaders
    • Strong team-oriented mindset with the proven ability to lead on complex IT projects
    • Previous experience in working with organizational realignment
    • Ability to produce effective documentation including schedule, budget, scope, and executive-level status reports
