Are you passionate about providing Cybersecurity solutions and want to work for a company that believes in Integrity, Competence, Value and Fun?

We are looking for a dynamic and results-focused Principal Architect, Security to be based out of our Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver or Toronto locations. In this role you will focus on Long View’s strategic initiatives for clients in the Security Practice. Utilizing your strong business and consulting skills, you will solve challenges and create business outcomes across several areas of the Microsoft ecosystem. You will architect and design solutions, provide guidance to other technical experts and assist with project delivery.

A Day in the Life:

    • Drive the sales of security solutions with a focus on the Microsoft technology stack . This including new sales and increase active usage of existing client base.
    • Qualify strategic business solutions leads and sales opportunities with Account Managers, Client Services Managers and/or Practice Directors
    • Guide and lead the strategic sales process through to closure including authoring the required documents.
    • Work with the Executive VP of Strategy, Office of the CTO, US Sales VP’s and Security Practice Director to develop and create a portfolio of highly differentiated practice and cross-practice solutions, specifically in the Security/Digital Defense portfolio
    • Research, understand and communicate industry and market trends and direction
    • Support partner vendor events in alignment with Practice Directors and Vendor Management Office
    • Create and execute on integrated annual strategy plans to achieve identified targets
    • Qualify strategic business solution leads and sales opportunities with Account Managers, Client Success Managers and Practice Directors
    • As a senior member of Security practice, you will work as a part of the team, solving business challenges and create business outcomes from strategy to execution
    • Applying your deep technical knowledge as a subject matter expert to architect and implement those solutions
    • Create artifacts and develop best practices
    • Lead strategic sales process through to closure including authoring required documents and contracts
    • Proactively build a pipeline of opportunities to support revenue targets
    • Participate and represent Long View in a variety of industry events
    • Host presentations and educational sessions internally and externally

What You Bring:

    • 15+ years of industry experience working as a subject matter expert in Cybersecurity and an professional consultant
    • Proficiency in outcome-based selling, or previous pre-sales experience selling complex solutions
    • Effective communication skills allowing you to interact with various audiences including internal stakeholders and peers
    • Proficiency in workshop facilitation (Envision and Art-of-the-Possible workshops)
    • Industry certifications and accreditations as aligned with key practices and technology partners
    • Familiarity with selling processes and working within the approved Long View processes
    • Ability to grasp new technology concepts rapidly and assess their relevance for client solutions

$140,000 - $180,000 a year
The expected pay range for this role is $140 - $180K + incentives.
