The Team Lead for the Migration Team oversees a group of specialists in facilitating seamless transitions for clients migrating from legacy software to our new SaaS platform. This role requires strong leadership, a focus on customer satisfaction, and a deep understanding of migration processes to enhance the customer experience. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Lead, guide, and mentor a team of 4-6 Migration Specialists to foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while also actively participating in migration activities. 
    • Monitor team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement training initiatives. 
    • Engage in constructive feedback within a peer review environment to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance customer experiences, and improve service delivery. 
    • Conduct training sessions for team members on new processes, tools, and industry best practices. 
    • Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for the migration program. 
    • Act as a liaison between the migration team and senior leadership, providing regular updates, and supporting the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to improve the migration experience. 
    • Champion a customer-centric approach, prioritizing satisfaction, and retention throughout the migration process. 
    • Manage and resolve customer escalations related to the migration process to ensure a seamless transition to the new generation software, maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. 
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, incorporating insights into team strategies. 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

    • EDUCATION:  Bachelor or associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Management, or equivalent 
    • EXPERIENCE:   3+ years of experience in client services, project management, training, or consulting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. 
    • Proven track record in managing migration projects. 
    • Experience leading and developing cross-functional teams. 
    • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, and migration methodologies. 
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. 
    • Demonstrated strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making abilities. 
    • Commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive work environment. 
    • Experience working cross functionally with Globally distributed teams across time zones in a remote environment.
