About the Role:
We’re looking for an innovative content strategist, hands-on storyteller and dynamic team leader who knows how to use content to drive business growth.
As a member of our Brand & Integrated Marketing team, you'll lead our content marketing function. You will:
- Lead the development of full-funnel content programs that influence pipeline, new business, upsell and renewal goals.
- Showcase our thought leadership in mental health care with insights from original research and Lyra subject matter experts.
- Unlock new possibilities. Accelerate the use of AI (as a co-creator) to help us scale smarter. Embrace next generation tech & tools to stand out in the market.
- Continuously evaluate content performance data to shape strategy and maximize business impact.

This role can be carried out from our Burlingame, CA headquarters, hybrid, or fully remote/virtually. Remote candidates must be physically located within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of content marketers - including writers and content strategists focused on crafting thought leadership, segment and solution stories.
- Developcontent strategies and programs designed to engage buying profiles in key market segments (for example: HR professionals, benefit consultants, channel partners).
- Proactively Identify content needs & lead the development of full-funnel content packages from seller materials to top of funnel content that resonates with decision-making HR leaders and influencers.
- Build a modern content marketing engine - using AI to scale smarter and faster.
- Continually evaluate and report on the team’s content performance metrics.
- Ensure that all content developed—from web copy and sales pitches to webinars, aligns with our GTM narratives and business priorities.
- Partner with subject matter experts and leverage original & secondary research to fuel engaging content and insights for our target audiences.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, working directly with GTM leaders across marketing, sales and customer success to inform content production efforts.
- Oversee event content development for key Conferences/Events & webinars
- Collaborate with the brand design team to ensure all content is on-brand and visually compelling.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in content marketing, public relations, corporate coms or related role —ideally in health care, benefits, or HR tech
- Degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, public relations or related
- A data-driven mindset with deep experience analyzing and reporting content performance metrics
- Skilled in leveraging AI to generate ideas and scale smarter.
- Demonstrated experience leading a marketing team and working cross functionally
- Exceptional B2B content development & writing skills + the ability to simplify complex topics and make them compelling
- A portfolio of work that showcases content development across the funnel—from blog posts and selling tools to thought leadership assets
- Strong ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience marketing to HR, benefit consultants, or enterprise buyers
- Knowledge of the U.S. health care system and the evolving employer-sponsored benefits landscape
$150,000 - $229,000 a year
As a full-time Director, Content Strategy, you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 to $229,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
