About the Role
This leadership position will be responsible for overseeing a team of psychiatrists, advanced practice providers (APPs), and other mental health professionals within our telehealth platform. The Psychiatry Manager will ensure that the team delivers efficient, effective, and compassionate care while maintaining high clinical standards and adherence to healthcare regulations. 

As the Psychiatry Manager, you will work closely with the clinical, operations, and technology teams to ensure that our telehealth psychiatric services are optimized for quality, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to the clinical team, manage day-to-day clinical operations, and play an integral role in ensuring the successful delivery of psychiatric services through our platform. 

Responsibilities

    • Lead, supervise, and provide guidance to a team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other mental health professionals 
    • Provide clinical oversight and support for team members, ensuring they have the resources and training they need to deliver high-quality psychiatric care
    • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, formulate accurate diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each developmental stage
    • Utilize proven therapeutic techniques and medication management strategies to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders, ensuring safe and appropriate interventions
    • Foster a collaborative treatment environment, educating families on mental health issues, involving them in care planning, and providing guidance on supportive measures at home
    • Conduct virtual psychiatric sessions, ensuring a high-quality and supportive experience, and leverage technology to maintain regular communication with members and families
    • Actively participate in team meetings, contribute to collaborative care planning, and provide consultative support to other team members for comprehensive member care
    • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes. Use data analytics to assess outcomes and continuously improve care quality 
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards, engage in ongoing professional development, and commit to ethical, patient-centered care practices

Qualifications

    • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state (priority states based on Bend's operational needs). 
    • Experience with Virtual Care and tele-psychiatry platforms, demonstrating comfort and proficiency in remote care settings. 
    • Demonstrated Family Engagement skills and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. 
    • Commitment to JACHO Standards: Familiarity with JACHO guidelines and competency in practicing within an accredited framework to ensure safety, quality, and compliance 

$200,000 - $300,000 a year
As a full-time Psychiatry Manager you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $200,000-$300,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
