Senior Product Manager

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team at Lyrebird Health

Full-time · Melbourne

About the job

At Lyrebird Health, we’re building tools that give healthcare teams superpowers. Our mission is to make the time-consuming administrative parts of care — documentation, coordination, and communication — radically easier, so clinicians can focus on what matters: helping people get better.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us evolve the Lyrebird product. This isn’t a “keep the backlog tidy” kind of role. We're after someone who can turn ambiguity in clarity, spots opportunities others miss, and drives the delivery of thoughtful, impactful products with real energy.

What you'll do:

    • Own and shape a part of our product from insight to execution to iteration.
    • Talk to our customers every day. Understand their pains, workflows, language, and needs.
    • Work closely with design and engineering to ship solutions that can be adopted and embraced.
    • Collaborate with clinical experts, researchers, and operational teams to build tools that slot seamlessly into real care delivery.
    • Balance speed with precision, knowing when to experiment and when to invest deeply.
    • Help us build the product culture we want: smart, humble, pragmatic, and mission-first.

About you

    • You’re deeply customer-oriented. You know how to ask the right questions, not just run a script
    • You’re comfortable in the weeds and zoomed way out — you should be able to do a napkin sketch of the vision, but also write a ticket that’s clear and useful
    • You’re proactive. You don’t wait to be told what to build — you help define what matters, and you drive it to completion
    • You’re energised by complexity, rather than frightened of it
    • You have many techniques for communicating your vision, from briefs and docs to prototypes and low-fi designs.
    • Healthcare experience is a plus, but curiosity and willingness to learn count for more
    • Experience using and building products with AI / LLMs will be considered very favourably.

Why Lyrebird?

    • We're tackling meaningful, messy problems in a vital industry
    • We work closely with our users and care deeply about their experience of our product
    • You’ll have real ownership, not just accountability
    • You’ll be working with a really excellent group of human beings in our Cremorne office, with flexibility to work from home when you need the extra focus
At Lyrebird, you won’t just write code — you’ll help shape the future of the human experience.

If you want to pioneer, to create, and to see your work touch lives directly, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re building a team that reflects the diversity of the people who’ll benefit from our work. We want Lyrebird to be a place where everyone feels safe, supported, and able to thrive. If you’re from an underrepresented background in tech, we especially encourage you to apply — even if you don’t meet every single requirement.
