Built out of necessity, Mac & Mia is a tech-enabled retail service that is saving busy parents hours of time by offering a remarkably easy way to personalize, build and accentuate their children's wardrobes. Our team curates quality items from an offering of unique, specialty brands that are then hand-selected and delivered to your home – They will fit, feel, and look great on your little ones. Ultimately, we are removing all of the friction from traditional shopping channels, and replacing with delight, discovery, and convenience.

As Head of Marketing you will:
Communicate and collaborate with teammates to inspire cooperation and innovation
Mentor your team, and lead by example to encourage the professional and personal growth of those around them
Use storytelling and content to engage customers and foster community between them
Develop content strategy and build a digital content strategy
Partner with Sales Managers to define strategies for organic Mac & Mia acquisition on a local level Partner in ideating and executing on a digital community platform (FB group, secret slack group for top customers?)
A/B test your way to the perfect customer journey for each cohort of your audience
Manage, deploy, and measure the annual marketing budget
Partner with stakeholders from analytics and engineering to understand customer behavior and create the best experience for them
Managing a creatives team’s output and workflow
Make well-reasoned decisions that inspire and energize others
Be willing to be tactical and get your hands dirty
Empower your team to individually become successful in each role

Mac & Mia is building an all-star team, and you should apply if you:
You have 7+ years of relative marketing experience in a consumer company (fashion experience preferred, but not a deal breaker!)
You use Google Analytics, Looker (or BI tool equivalent), and are comfortable in ad platform dashboards (Adwords, Facebook, Twitter, Adroll, Pinterest, 4C)
Passionate about the intersection of acquisition and retention
Have deep email marketing and CRM management experience
Are organized and focused when working toward a goal
Show humility when you are right or wrong and have the confidence to admit mistakes
Are passionate about building products that feel fun and intuitive to use
Have been a technical lead on a team that built something you are proud of

The Head of Marketing role is based out of Chicago- our offices are located in Chinatown
