What you’ll be doing:

    • Works and directs Movers, Furniture Installers, and other trades | vendors to support ongoing projects
    • Partners with Facilities Engineering Manager to complete Line of Business requests
    • Provides ongoing relationship management with assigned vendors to assure communication and feedback are fluid
    • Managing facilities staff and third party service providers who are responsible for ongoing, day-to-day management of the facility
    • Conducting site inspections to assess the physical condition of buildings and systems
    • Plans and develops work schedules to ensure adequate service
    • Audits and maintains inventories supplies and equipment
    • Keep the Director of Facilities informed on regular basis of progress and issues
    • Work closely and cooperatively with other department heads
    • Acts as liaison between company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors
    • Maintains contract and contractor status databases
    • Reviews all correspondence concerning contractors and responds as appropriate
    • Establishes and maintains contact with contractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract process
    • Conduct and attend meetings to communicate top down, and bottom up on a consistent real time basis, with customers, clients, and employees
    • Managing facilities staff and third party service providers who are responsible for ongoing, day-to-day management of the facility
    • Be familiar with using a Facilities Management system
    • Keep accurate records of current space conditions including roof, HVAC, utilities, hardware assets, and special circumstances
    • Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations
    • Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the facility
    • Perform other duties as requested by management

Your background and who you are:

    • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
    • Knowledge of CAD a plus
    • College Degree
    • Excellent written communication skills
    • Excellent verbal communication skills
    • Strong project management ability and problem-solving skills
    • Strong computer skills in Word, Outlook, Access or other facility management systems
    • Time management skills required
    • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
    • A working knowledge of building systems & maintenance (HVAC, fire life safety, lighting, electrical, plumbing, EV charging stations, etc.)
    • An ability to juggle multiple deadlines & projects along with a knack for solving problems and spotting inefficiencies
