The Opportunity

As a Junior Support Engineer, you will support and assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT Infrastructure systems and provide application support. This position focuses on hands-on technical execution to ensure robust, secure, and efficient IT operations. You will work on technical tasks while collaborating with stakeholders and users across all business units through direct involvement in execution work.
 
You will work closely with team members to understand and implement best practices in infrastructure management, application support and security.

What you'll be doing

    • Support implementation of technology roadmap initiatives
    • Application and Infrastructure support
    • Assist in project execution
    • Connectivity and access issues
    • End-to-end onboarding and offboarding of staff technology access and devices
    • Assist in maintaining enterprise-level Microsoft infrastructure
    • Support network infrastructure maintenance
    • Help implement monitoring and alerting systems
    • Assist in backup and recovery processes
    • Support incident response and troubleshooting
    • Hardware and equipment troubleshooting (e.g. VCs, printers)

Experience and skills required

    • 2 years of IT engineering experience providing both application and infrastructure support
    • Experience providing application support
    • Experience using Jira to track bugs and creating Confluence documentation
    • Highly desirable previous experience in front-end web development including JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
    • Experience working closely with development and DevOps teams.
    • IT or technical services Bachelor's degree (Computer Engineering, Science or Mathematics).
    • Service-oriented individual.
    • A positive, tech-curious professional with pro-active attitude towards customer enquiries.
$75,000 - $80,000 a year
