The Associate/Sr. Associate, Commercial Analysis will be a core member of MEI’s Business & Market Development team. This individual will be responsible for financial modeling, analyzing policy and market opportunities, assisting in partnership negotiations and preparing investment committee memos. This position is best filled by a multi-disciplined, self-starter with an appetite for learning and collaboration.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the Business & Market Development team’s commercial efforts, run financial valuations, and evaluate new investment opportunities.
- Conduct market research to inform origination strategy and anticipate risk.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to refine project inputs and assess deal viability.
- Become a subject matter expert across key markets and technologies—including solar, energy storage, mobility, and other clean energy solutions.
- Support partner and customer engagement throughout MEI’s sales cycle and into deal execution.
What Are We Looking For - Must Have:
- At least 2 years of experience with a project developer, IPP, or clean energy investment firm
- Experience in financial modeling, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and asset valuation
- Knowledge of clean energy markets and incentive programs
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and organizational ability
- CRM and software proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint)
What Are We Looking For - Nice to Have:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Familiarity with U.S. power markets (e.g., PJM, CAISO)
- Experience working across the full sales-to-close lifecycle
- Demonstrated interest in learning and continuous improvement
- Team-first mentality and collaborative work style
$90,000 - $130,000 a year
Eligible for an annual bonus.
Actual salary offered may vary depending on job-related factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
