Madison Energy Infrastructure (“MEI”) believes in the power of clean energy infrastructure and has quickly emerged as a preeminent developer, investor, asset owner, and operator of distributed generation. This role represents a critical next step in MEI’s evolution toward offering direct, end-to-end services to Fortune 500 corporates, public entities, nonprofits, and other private customers alike and building out development pipelines to finance renewable energy projects with our development partners.

The Operations Coordinator at Madison Energy Infrastructure (MEI) plays a critical role in providing essential office support and enhancing employee engagement across the organization. This position will be a part of the operational backbone of MEI, responsible for managing resources and facilities to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment. Adaptability, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to effective communication are essential for success in this dynamic and fast-paced role.

This includes facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, organizing team-building activities to foster a positive workplace culture, and coordinating events that promote collaboration and camaraderie among staff. Additionally, the role involves providing administrative support to executives, managing schedules, and ensuring effective communication within the office, all aimed at creating a cohesive and engaging experience for employees.

What You'll Be Doing:

    • Planning and managing logistics for internal events and meetings, ensuring smooth execution at our Tysons Corner headquarters.
    • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the management team to help streamline tasks and priorities.
    • Assisting with recruitment coordination by managing candidate engagement, scheduling interviews, and tracking applicant flow in Lever.
    • Supporting the development and execution of MEI’s college recruitment Initiative and summer internship programs.
    • Leading new hire orientation activities to ensure a smooth, engaging, and organized Day One experience.
    • Assisting with planning and logistics for MEI’s semi-annual in-person working sessions.
    • Coordinating community volunteer events that enhance employee engagement and reinforce MEI’s culture.
    • Supporting performance management and OKR-related activities to help align team goals with business outcomes.
    • Assisting with people operations research, data requests, and audit-related questions in collaboration with the People Ops team.
    • Pitching in across various People Operations tasks as needed to ensure the success of team-wide initiatives.

What We Are Looking For:

    • Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System is preferred.
    • 1-2 years of experience in a dynamic environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Adobe Acrobat, and social media platforms.
$85,000 - $100,000 a year
