Madison Energy Infrastructure (“Madison” or “MEI”) believes in the power of clean energy infrastructure and has quickly emerged as a preeminent developer, investor, asset owner, and operator of distributed generation. The Analyst, Energy Solutions role represents a critical next step in MEI’s evolution toward offering direct, end-to-end services to Fortune 500 corporates, public entities, nonprofits, and other private customers alike.
 
The Analyst, Energy Solutions will play a critical role in supporting the organization’s growing Business & Market Development team, with a focus on advancing our sales and commercial efforts with private and public organizations interested in pursuing clean energy and sustainability projects. Responsibilities include generating initial project designs and layouts, conducting financial modeling and early-stage due diligence, and analyzing policy and market opportunities. This position is best filled by a multi-disciplined, self-starter with an appetite for learning and covering multiple technologies and topics.

What You’ll Be Doing:

    • Supporting the company’s sales and project development functions by running initial project designs, bill savings analysis, and pricing and project valuations.
    • Generating project proposals, coordinating with commercial analysis and investment teams, and researching market conditions and opportunities.
    • Gaining proficiency in clean energy software tools, including Helioscope, Energy Tool Base, and Excel-based financial modeling.
    • Assisting with ongoing partner and customer engagement from project start to project finish.

What We Are Looking For:

    • Demonstrated interest (ideally hands-on experience) in developing clean energy and distributed generation projects.
    • Aptitude and knowledge of clean energy markets/incentives.
    • Experience supporting and delivering sales proposals (preferably in the clean energy sector, but not a requirement).
    • Experience with Excel-based project modeling and valuations.
    • Hands-on knowledge of CRMs and other sales systems/software.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Meticulous attention to detail.
    • Multi-tasker with a strong work ethic.
    • Superior interpersonal skills and a team-first mentality.
$85,000 - $105,000 a year
Location: Philadelphia, PA (hybrid, 4 days on-site)
