Responsibilities:
 
Business Partnering: Serve as the financial business partner to the Commercial organization, including Chief Commercial Officer and the Commercial Leadership Team.  Business case development, decision support, resource allocation scenarios, variance analysis, supporting management and board level reporting for CCO group
 
Forecasting/Budgeting: Lead and manage all budgeting (annual), forecasting (quarterly + ad hoc), and long range planning for the Commercial team.  This includes Ex-factory volume -> Gross Revenue, Gross-To-Nets, and all operational spend.
 
Expense Management & Accruals: Responsible for contract review & approval, Purchase Order management and maintenance, developing and ensuring accurate month end expense accruals.
 
Management Reporting: Work with finance and operational leadership to develop and continuously improve management reporting capabilities, with a focus on delivering actionable insights.  This includes reporting monthly budget vs. actuals, maintaining up to date full year forecast (including between quarterly forecasting periods) with good visualizations, and developing and maintaining executive level dashboards.
 
Ad Hoc Support: Support finance leadership on any ad hoc needs including modeling exercises, Business Development and Investor Relations needs.  Also support the commercial team with any operational needs where the FP&A skillset adds value.
 
Qualifications:
 
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
 
MS/MBA preferred
 
8+ years relevant finance & accounting experience / 3+ years FP&A experience
 
2+ years Pharmaceutical / Biotech experience required
 
Commercial Pharma experience preferred
 
Revenue Gross-To-Net understanding preferred
 
High/Expert level Excel knowledge, skill, and speed
 
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
 
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of management
 
Superior planning and prioritization abilities
 
Good understanding of US GAAP accounting standards
 
Experience learning and working with financial systems (ERP, FP&A software)
