Position Summary:
 
The Associate Director/Director, HCP Marketing (NASH) will be a key member on the US Marketing team focused on building and executing a robust go-to market plan for HCPs and other key customers. This is a truly unique opportunity to shape a nascent but dynamic NASH (nonalcoholic steatohepatitis) marketplace in preparation for a potential first-to-market therapeutic with blockbuster aspirations.
 
In partnership with the Senior Brand Director, this individual will help champion best-in-class HCP marketing efforts to support a successful US commercial launch and continued growth of resmetirom. Specifically, this individual will be responsible and accountable for workstreams related to, but not limited to, (1) promotional product education, (2) patient identification & diagnosis, (3) guideline awareness, (4) NASH disease education, and (5) other business critical marketing initiatives.
 
This marketing leader will be required and empowered to help shape brand strategy, build effective tactical plans, create actionable project plans, manage budgets and timelines effectively, and deliver high-impact fit-for-purpose solutions that are supported by leadership and cross-functional partners.
 
This position is designed for a marketing leader who can flex and focus on several facets of HCP marketing over time based on business needs and/or the capabilities and development needs of the team.

Job Requirements:
 
Develop, execute, and measure professional marketing strategies and tactical mix aligned to brand strategy, positioning, targeting, and messaging while meeting all FDA regulations and standards
 
Execute the development of pull-through derivative tactics to support an integrated, multichannel branded campaign directed towards HCPs to drive adoption and utilization of resmetirom; including media and NPP strategy, tactics and measurement plans
 
Lead and execute marketing strategies and tactics aligned to business critical initiatives such as (but not limited to) guideline awareness and patient identification
 
Lead the execution, measurement, and enhancement of the HCP disease education campaign efforts
 
Support commercial field teams and other tactical workstreams as needed
 
Effectively collaborate to ensure alignment and success with cross-functional partners including PRC/MLR, market research, analytics, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, compliance, field, etc.
 
Lead agency partners, manage budget, and evaluate tactical performance to ensure appropriate resource allocation and timely delivery within financial constraints

Travel is required – up to 25% of the time (including weekends as needed)
 
Education and Experience:
 
Bachelor's Degree, MBA or Masters preferred
 
7+ years of biopharmaceutical commercial experience (required); sales, marketing, strategy, etc.
 
3+ years of HCP marketing experience (required)
 
Experience across several channels, stakeholders, disease states, and business models (required)
 
At least 1 specialty launch in the past 5 years (required); subpart H experience is a plus
 
Experience in smaller company (or team) environment is a plus
 
Robust experience in digital / non-personal promotion and customer analytics is a plus
