The MPS Marketing Director leads the strategy, tactic development, and execution of messaging and resources to internal and external MPS customers. This encompasses development of MPS brand strategies, above-brand initiatives and accountability for all MPS related initiatives working closely with the Brand Team, Consumer Marketing, Training, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Market Access. The MPS Marketing Dir will report to the VP, Patient Access.
 
Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with commercial partners to ensure MPS strategy supports and aligns with commercial strategy

Lead MPS strategy assessment and build recommendations on short and long-term Market Access strategies

Work with Marketing to ensure alignment of Brand strategy and messaging for HCPs and patients; ensure materials and messaging addresses full NASH patient journey

Provide MPS materials to Sales Team and messaging for inclusion in Marketing materials

Consult with Legal and Compliance, to ensure the development of compliant MPS messaging and materials

Design, develop and usher assets through PRC for various use: digital, print, email etc

Develop and implement Patient Access pull-through materials

Work with brand marketing to identify specific access challenges and generate materials to educate on resources available to address those challenges

Communicate Patient Access updates across the organization effectively and timely in coordination with other key processes and stakeholders

Direct MPS  specific market research activities

Manage MPS marketing/awareness budget resources

Lead operational initiatives in support of the broader MPS organization including development and oversight of external meeting presence, internal meeting alignment and preparations, and coordination with training

Manages key agencies of record and vendors to deliver tools, tactics and materials

Become a knowledge broker with internal stakeholders to grow the MPS acumen and understanding across Madrigal through engagement and information sharing with key stakeholders

Collaborates closely with Brand Team and engages with Commercial Leaders as the business dictates

Be an active participant in an engaging, performance-based culture that motivates the team to exceed expectations

Qualifications and Skills:

>5 years Marketing experience in a specialty access environment

Experience working in or collaboratively with a patient support program including how to effectively and compliantly educate about initiatives and services

Solid track record of driving Patient Access initiatives within an organization

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a matrix team environment

Excellent planning and strategy development while executing against tight timelines

High emotional intelligence in managing multiple business initiatives and cross-functional relationships

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong organizational and project management skills

Excitement about the vision and mission of Madrigal

Travel is up to 40%

Preferred:

MBA or Master's Degree

Specialty Launch experience
 
Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited four year college or university (or the equivalent if education obtained outside of the United States)

Minimum 6 years business experience in the healthcare, or pharmaceutical/biotech industry
