OVERVIEW
Zeitworks is a new start-up sitting at the center of the fastest growing enterprise software segments: RPA, Process Mining, BPM, in a new category we’re calling Intelligent Ops. Looking beyond automation, Zeitworks automatically discovers, monitors and documents all an organization’s business processes, with zero disruption providing real-time business recommendations to business leaders. We have an experienced enterprise leadership team, and the backing of premiere venture capital investors.

THE ROLE
This role is part of our Seattle based engineering team, and offers candidates the opportunity to be a founding engineer in a VC-track company that will be making an enormous impact. Preference will be given to local candidates.
 
- Build, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure 
- Build and manage security and privacy compliance processes 
- Manage authentication services such as Auth0 and Active Directory 
- Manage and expand automated Continuous Improvement (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) build systems using tools like
Jenkins and Git to improve and speed up delivery of our products and services 
- Manage release processes and contribute to tooling improvement 
- Contribute to automation and product development through scripting and software development 
- Build and manage infrastructure as code systems using tools like AWS CloudFormation 
- Manage and optimize data lake and data pipeline infrastructure and processes 
- Implement performance monitoring to support architecture and planning decisions based on quantifiable information 
- Maintain a strong focus on business outcomes 

QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years’ IT or software development experience
    • BS or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
    • Strong knowledge of AWS including network architecture, IAM management best practices and managed AWS services
    • Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) capabilities (e.g. identity registration, credential management, access governance, authentication, single sign-on)
    • Experience developing and supporting security and privacy compliance programs
    • Experience with automated CI/CD build systems and related software development lifecycle tools and processes
    • Experience with containerization and microservices architectures
    • Experience managing data pipeline infrastructure
    • Linux fundamentals and scripting experience
    • Python software development experience
    • Experience working in an agile framework development model
    • Ability to work independently, self-directed and solutions oriented
    • Proficient oral and written communications skills
    • Collaborates well in a team environment and motivated to learn new technologies
    • Strong drive to contribute and achieve results
    • Outstanding character and capability to contribute positively to company culture

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

    • Familiarity with other cloud environments such as Azure and GCP
    • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts and related technologies like TLS and load balancers
    • Familiarity with Windows enterprise administration and application deployment
    • Familiarity with GDPR, SOC2 and/or HIPAA compliance certification
    • Tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to make progress in the face of it
