We are currently seeking a Toddler Teacher to join our loving and experienced daycare team in Middleton. In this role, you’ll guide a classroom of curious and active toddlers through essential milestones, helping them grow with patience, positivity, and purpose.
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- EEC Infant-Toddler Certification, CDA, or an equivalent degree and experience (preferred but not required).
- Previous daycare, preschool, or early childhood education experience in a center-based or private school setting.
- Patience, positive energy, and a passion for helping young children meet and exceed their developmental goals.
Some requirements of the role include:
- Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shifts
- Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
- Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset
As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with your co-teacher to create developmentally appropriate curriculum, lesson plans, and activities for toddlers.
- Communicate with parents via Class Dojo and classroom updates to support strong school-home connections.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging child care environment with age-appropriate learning centers and play areas.
- Supervise and support toddlers during indoor and outdoor play, meals, naptime, and bathroom routines (including toilet training assistance and diapering).
- Track children’s progress and complete assessments to celebrate milestones.
- Follow health, safety, and EEC regulations while maintaining a warm, nurturing classroom atmosphere.

$16 - $24 an hour
