Game Designer - Project

Los Angeles, United States
Design & Creative Direction – Experience Design /
Project /
Hybrid
We’re seeking an experienced Game Designer to help our team create music-themed gameplay and experiences for an audience of millions of users. If you get excited about creating new connections between fans and the largest musical artists in the world, you’re who we’re looking for. We need a game designer who can find a balance between creating experiences and games, and push that boundary every time. You’re probably someone that wants to sit and tweak a mechanic until it feels just right.  Someone with the experience to understand that number crunching is all part of making games fun and worth playing.  Someone who knows that “finding the fun” probably doesn’t start or end in a document.

We know this is kind of a new thing, so we aren’t going to pretend there’s anyone out there with a decade of experience in it. But if you’re passionate about tackling things that have never been done before, broad enough to bring in experiences from gameplay and level design, and sage enough to realize that none of us have all the answers, we would very much like to work with you.

Magnopus's studio postings are made in advance of work anticipated to be awarded. Hires cannot be made until contracts are awarded. In some instances, contracts may not be awarded which could delay or preempt the interview process. We appreciate your patience.
