About the Role
We’re looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our Malbon boutique in Los Angeles, CA. As the right hand to the General Manager, the AGM will help lead daily operations, inspire the team, and ensure the store delivers on sales goals, customer experience, and operational excellence. You’ll play a dual role: a hands-on floor leader who energizes the team and engages customers, and a trusted administrative partner who supports scheduling, reporting, and other back-office responsibilities.

This is a full-time, in-store position (five days per week), with flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do

    • Partner with the General Manager to oversee daily store operations and drive business performance.
    • Lead and motivate the team on the sales floor, delivering elevated customer experiences that reflect Malbon’s mission and brand.
    • Support administrative functions including scheduling, payroll preparation, reporting, expense tracking, and compliance with company policies.
    • Monitor KPIs (conversion, UPT, AOV) and assist in translating insights into action plans.
    • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training team members to build a high-performance culture.
    • Ensure operational standards are met across inventory, merchandising, shipment processing, and store presentation.
    • Act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the General Manager, making confident decisions to support business needs.
    • Support in-store activations, product launches, and community partnerships that connect the store to its local market.

What We’re Looking For

    • 3+ years of retail management experience, ideally in apparel, lifestyle, or premium retail.
    • Strong ability to lead a team, delegate effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Administrative skills: organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with scheduling, reporting, and other operational tasks.
    • Passion for golf and culture, with knowledge of the sport, its community, and its intersection with fashion and design.
    • Proven success in analyzing KPIs and driving sales performance.
    • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Active floor presence, including the ability to stand/walk for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be 18+ years of age.

Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary: $55,000 to $70,000, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
