We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Subledger Accountant to join our finance team. The Subledger Accountant will be responsible for managing subledgers, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Subledger Management : Create and maintain subledgers for various accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
Reconciliation : Perform regular reconciliations of subledger accounts with the general ledger to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Data Entry : Accurately record financial transactions in the subledgers, including invoices, receipts, and journal entries.
Analysis : Analyze subledger data to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential issues, and provide recommendations for resolution.
Reporting : Collaborate with FP&A department and prepare financial reports and statements related to subledger accounts as required by management.
Compliance : Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations in all subledger activities.
Collaboration : Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and provide support for audits.
Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to streamline subledger processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Documentation : Maintain thorough and organized documentation of all subledger transactions and processes.
Ad Hoc Tasks : Assist with ad hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or Controller.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Ideally 2+ years of accounting experience, including subledger management.
Proficiency in accounting software (DATEV, Netsuite) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
