Within the Accounting team based in Paris, you will contribute to the Accounts Payable (AP) cycle for our French entity and collaborate with Finance teams (FP&A, Treasury) and business stakeholders to continuously improve processes.
You will also take part in the rollout of a new P2P (Procure-to-Pay) solution, with real responsibility for testing and documentation.
Reporting to a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant, you will progressively take on the following responsibilities:
Key responsibilities ✨
- AP Process & Controls Excellence : You will actively Contribute to invoice processing, performing meticulous Pre-checks (compliance, mandatory information, VAT) and accurate Analytical and GL coding.
- Supplier Relations & Data Integrity : You will Support supplier relationship management by executing Create/update supplier master data and basic KYC documents. Proactively Track discrepancies and handle first-level follow-ups, and Help resolve disputes (price, quantity, VAT).
- Cash Flow & Payment Management : You will Assist with payment preparation: Prepare payment runs, basic controls, [and] on-time execution, and meticulously Track due dates and credit notes.
- Financial Close Participation : You will Participate in month-end activities, focusing on control through Account reconciliations and basic bank reconciliations.
- P2P Digital Transformation : You will Participate in the development and implementation of a new P2P solution. This includes the critical task to Prepare the vendor master database via Data cleansing (suppliers, reference data).
- Operational Improvement & Efficiency : You will Drive continuous improvement by actively seeking to Suggest optimizations (automation, controls, templates) and helping to Help update procedures and checklists.
About you 🧑🚀
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Business Administration with a Finance concentration, or a related quantitative field.
- Looking for a full-time 6-month-internship or a apprenticeship starting as soon as possible.
- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles (AP basics, VAT notions) from studies or internship.
- Comfortable with computers an IT environment.
- Capacity to evolve in an international and challenging environment.
- Ability to work well in a team and to communicate efficiently.
- High level of engagement.
