Our next FP&A Topline will join a team of 5 and report to our Head of FP&A.
This role will own and lead key recurring topics concerning Marketing, software, G&A, and travel/expenses and to play an important part in budgeting, forecasting and analyzing expenses to support strategic decision-making.
Acting as a business partner with the different departments of Malt, missions include:
Key responsibilities ✨
- Monthly closing & Budget / reforecast process on the Topline and the contribution margin of all Malt Subsidiaries (UK, Germany, Spain, Middle East and Benelux): Own of these processes and coordinate with both accounting and the business.
- Business Partnership: Be a close partner of our subsidiaries General Manager : prepare detailed Topline & Margin reports and dashboards, work on budget, forecast and landing and assist on ad hoc analysis such as profitability levers or new entities / geographies development
- Financial control : Be the reference point for key drivers of our contribution margin such as Bad Debt and Factoring fees monitoring
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models (Excel and Pigment) that aid in scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and long-term financial planning. These models will serve as a foundation for strategic decision-making.
- Cross-functional projects within and beyond Finance including and the implementation of appropriate tools to automate and improve the quality of the financial information (EPM, ERP, dashboarding, KPIs).
- Process Improvements: Continuously enhance FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies to streamline reporting, increase accuracy, and improve efficiency.
About you 🧑🚀
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on expenses and cost management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to gather information and drive alignment.
- Adaptable and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment, able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining complex financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, dashboarding solution and experience with financial planning software (Experience with Pigment is a big plus). Knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous.
- Fully fluent in French and English to collaborate with colleagues across Europe in an international environment
