About Us
We’re a fast-moving startup securing mission-critical software powering over $100B of defense and national security infrastructure and assets—from aircraft carriers to logistics systems. Our platform illuminates hidden risks in software and AI supply chains—helping our customers detect and manage risk in order to operate with confidence. From national security to public health, the stakes are high—and we’re building the team that can rise to meet them.
The Role
We're looking for a tenacious, intellectually curious, and mission-driven Sales Executive to help lead our public sector growth. You’ll be on the ground building pipeline, shaping our go-to-market, and driving impact across defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies. This role is perfect for someone who doesn’t wait for leads or instruction—someone who sees ambiguity as opportunity, understands the inner workings of the federal market, and knows how to navigate bureaucracy without losing momentum. You're a student of the game, constantly refining your approach, and equally comfortable in a tactical BD sprint or a strategic conversation with a flag officer or SES.
What You'll Do
- Identify, engage, and close net-new business with federal agencies and key public sector partners - this is a quota-carrying role
- Build and implement a greenfield territory strategy with sharp focus and grit—this is a self-prospecting role
- Guide customers through complex buying paths, including OTAs, SBIRs, BPAs, and sole-source opportunities
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and leadership to continuously sharpen our positioning and outreach
- Show up to every meeting prepared, on-mission, and ready to drive value for the customer
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience selling technology into federal government (DoD, IC, or Civilian)
- A track record of building pipeline and closing deals in greenfield or early-market settings
- Deep understanding of sales process and the federal procurement landscape—especially how to get creative within it
- High intellectual horsepower and the discipline to execute—no ego, no excuses
- Excellent executive presence, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Washington, DC–based preferred
- Clearance helpful but not required
Bonus Points
- Experience with cybersecurity, product/application security, software supply chain, or compliance tools
- Familiarity with SBOMs, Product and AI security, or C-SCRM challenges
- Prior experience at a startup or in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Why This Role Matters
You won’t be just another seller with a patch. You’ll be building a mission-focused business from the ground up—helping agencies secure the digital foundation of their operations, and shaping how the government thinks about software risk. If you’re looking for a job where you can have strategic impact, operate with autonomy, and go to sleep knowing you did something that mattered—this is it.
Compensation
Total compensation includes base salary, variable incentive compensation, and an equity package. Final compensation will be determined based on an individual’s qualifications, relevant experience, and unique skill set.
Benefits
Our benefits are designed to support your health, financial security, and overall well-being, while giving you the flexibility to thrive both personally and professionally. As a team that values outcomes over hours and trust over micromanagement, we’ve created a remote-first culture with real benefits to match.
- Competitive compensation & equity package with long-term upside
- Fully paid 100% medical/dental/vision insurance coverage for you and your dependents
- 401(k) and retirement options
- Fully remote work environment — work where you perform best
- Unlimited PTO — which we take seriously
